2010 Olympic Highlights
It’s the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver Canada! What an amazing opportunity to study the lives of some of the worlds greatest athletic achievers. Seldom do we have such concentrated opportunity to witness monumental achievement as we do during the olympics.
There’s a story of success, goal-setting, and greatness behind every olympic athlete who competes. Here I’ll be investigating the lives of some of the best of the best, the top olympic stories from Vancouver.
But we’ll not only revel in their success, we’ll analyze their efforts, and attempt to deconstruct their achievements and find the common denominators that make the great, great.
These are only some of the top stories that I come across. If you know of some that should be featured here as well, please let us know in the comments, so that we can feature them as well.
In the meantime, good luck to all the 2010 olympic athletes competing in Vancouver. You inspire us.

Shaun White had all the ingredients for success. But here's the less-well known story, including the inspirational role of his parents in winning the 2010 Olympic Gold in snowboarding.
Anja Paerson's inspirational story of overcoming failure. Her profound example of facing your personal daemons, and getting up each time you fall.
Petra Majdic overcomes 4 broken ribs and a punctured lung to win the bronze. Proving that sheer willpower is stronger than nearly any adversity you can face.
Lindsey Vonn - she didn't start out the fastest, she wasn't the most naturally gifted. But she started small, persevered, and through a crazy amount of hard work has become the most successful female skier in World Cup history.
I'm constantly inspired by the photos of olympic champions in the moment of their success. Expressions that encapsulate the culmination of years of hard work, living their dream and achieving their goals. Click the photo above for an ever updated catalog of these expressions.

She was amazing and so strong. I was crying at the end, when i saw her on the ground. Such a will and strength. I’m so proud being a Slovenian!!!
Yes (speaking of Petra), it was a truly emotional sight. I’m not even Slovenian, but she made me proud to be human. What a brilliant inspiration she is. I hope she receives an incredible welcome home.
GOOD JOB EVERYONE IN THE OLYMPICS
