Strengthened by adversity

We all face adversity within our lives.  Some, far more than others.  But it’s not the adversity that matters, but how we deal with it (life is what we make of it).

The following is an inspiring story of Horatio Spafford who did just that, who took adversity and decided to respond healthily, and not with anger, hate, or spite at the cards he’d been dealt.  Rather than being driven from God, he was driven to God.

May we all use the adversity in our lives to make us better, stronger, and closer to God.

    Inspiring!

  2. hehe, what Margaret didn’t say (because she’s so humble), is that she’s the one that sent this to me in the first place. When she’s not playing with her grandchildren, she’s helping me on Ongofu. She’s an endless supply of inspiration. In fact, I could likely just up and die and nobody would know any differently.

I’d just need to give her admin access before I did…. better write myself a reminder…

You’d better be here for the long haul! There is no way I could begin to do what you do! Thanks for the acknowledgement, though. I’m glad to be of help in a very small way. And please, no reminder. ;o)
